Chamberlain’s Youth Services is offering a $1,500 sign on bonus for Residential Counselors and Lead Residential Counselors.
Comprehensive Medical, Dental and Vision Plans
All Full-Time classified employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s health, dental and vision insurance programs beginning the first of the month following their first 30 days of employment. Chamberlain’s covers up to $600 of the employee’s personal medical premium.
Group Life Insurance
All Full-Time classified employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s Group Life Insurance Program at no cost to them. The first $25,000 life insurance coverage is paid by the Company. Additional supplemental coverage is available for enrolled employees and their dependents.
401k Retirement Plans with a guaranteed Employer match
All employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) retirement plan during the next quarterly enrollment after 30 days of the start of their employment. The company has a guaranteed 401(k) match up of $0.25c per every $1.00 contributed by the employee, up to $2,000 per year.
Paid Time Off and Paid Sick Leave
Full-Time classified Employees will begin accruing Paid Time Off (“PTO”) immediately at the rate of ten days per year. PTO increases to fifteen days per year beginning in the second year of employment, and 20 days per year following four years of employment. Part-Time and On-Call classified Employees will begin accruing sick leave immediately at the rate of 1 hour for every 30 hours worked, up to an accrual cap of 48 hours. Accrued hours may be used after 90 days of employment.
Chamberlain’s Youth Services observes many holidays each year. The Holiday schedule is established by management annually. All Full-Time classified employees are eligible for eight hours of Holiday Pay for each observed holiday, beginning 90 days after their first day of employment. We currently have eight paid holidays on schedule for the year 2020 for all direct care staff and nine on schedule for the year 2020 for all administrative and clinical staff. On-Call classified employees get Holiday Pay for the matching hours worked on a scheduled holiday.
Continuous Learning Opportunities
Chamberlain’s Youth Services encourages continuous and lifelong learning. Chamberlain’s supports undergraduate and graduate courses that are relevant to the duties performed as a Chamberlain’s employee and that lead to an Associate’s Degree or higher. Chamberlain’s also supports job related seminars/courses that may or may not lead to a professional certificate. Employees may request up to $1,000 in tuition reimbursement per calendar year, and up to $4,000 in the entire duration of their employment with Chamberlain’s.
Monthly Program-Wide Meetings & Employee Appreciation
Every month Chamberlain’s Youth Services holds a Program-Wide meeting. Announcements are made about: new company objectives, new hires, upcoming policy / practice changes, updates on client progress, and much more. We value each and every employee’s cares and concerns. During the Holiday Season, Program-Wide meetings are often catered and we meet to take a break, enjoy each other’s company and have a good time.
Every year, Chamberlain’s Youth Services holds various employee appreciation events including catered BBQs, Pot Lucks, a gift give-away and raffles.
Graveyard Shift Differential
Chamberlain’s pays an additional $1.00 per hour on top of the employee’s regular rate for working or covering a graveyard shift. Graveyard is considered the shift between 12:00am (midnight) and 8:00am.
